The brand
Born on the
Belgian coast.
The story
Why BINDY?
In Belgium, surf culture exists. It's right there, in every kite session at Zeebrugge, every run at the cable park, every trick at the skatepark. It lives in the vans parked facing the North Sea on an autumn morning, in the WhatsApp groups blowing up as soon as the wind shifts, in the passionate conversations at the counter of a skate shop. But nobody brings it all together.
BINDY was born from that realization. A meeting point for the Belgian ride community. A platform that centralizes spots, schools, shops, events and the key players of the board sports scene in Belgium. We're not creating Belgian surf culture - it already exists. We're simply giving it a space to come together and grow.
The name? A nod to the English word "bind" - to link, to connect. We connect riders, spots, shops and enthusiasts from all over Belgium. From the Flemish coast to the Walloon cable parks, from urban skateparks to North Sea sessions, BINDY weaves the link between every facet of Belgian ride culture.
The playground
Why Belgium?
67 km of coastline. Dozens of cable parks. Skateparks in every city. And a community of riders just waiting to connect. Belgium is a small country, but its density of spots and board sports infrastructure makes it an exceptional playground. Everything is accessible, everything is close, and the diversity of disciplines is impressive.
Belgium has something unique: a raw energy, an authentic scene, and passionate riders who don't wait for perfect conditions. We ride in the rain, in the cold, with crosswind - and that's exactly what forges the character of the community. The Belgian rider is resilient, resourceful, and always ready to send it when the opportunity comes.
The future
Our vision
Become the go-to platform for surf culture in Belgium. Not just a brand - a community platform that brings together, informs and connects all the riders in the country. A single place to find spots, schools, shops, events and news from the Belgian board sports scene.
Long term: a non-profit to structure and support the Belgian ride scene. Events, training, rider support, and shining a light on local talent. We want every rider in Belgium to have access to the right info and be part of a community that pushes them to progress.
